La légendaire chanteuse, compositrice, actrice et activiste Chaka Khan annonce son grand retour avec Chakzilla, un nouvel album attendu en septembre 2026. Pour ce projet événement, l’icône mondiale collabore avec la maison de couture parisienne On Aura Tout Vu, reconnue pour son univers spectaculaire à la croisée de la mode, de la haute couture, du bijou et de la scène musicale.

Après avoir habillé des artistes internationales telles que Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry ou encore Jennifer Lopez, les designers Livia Stoianova et Yassen Samouilov ouvrent un nouveau chapitre créatif aux côtés de Chaka Khan.

Une silhouette couture pour une héroïne monumentale

Dans le clip officiel Chakzilla, réalisé par Nicholas W. Callais, Chaka Khan apparaît vêtue d’une spectaculaire robe noire en tulle brodée de perles miniatures et de longues paillettes créant un effet de fourrure sombre et lumineuse. Cette création issue de la collection couture Out Of This World de On Aura Tout Vu accompagne parfaitement l’esthétique futuriste et engagée du clip.

Pensée comme une figure monumentale et bienveillante, “Chakzilla” déambule dans une ville miniature non pour détruire, mais pour réparer et protéger. Une métaphore puissante du monde contemporain portée par l’énergie iconique de l’artiste.

Premier single du projet, Chakzilla marque également une collaboration exceptionnelle entre Chaka Khan et Sia. Écrit par Sia et produit par le célèbre Greg Kurstin, le morceau fusionne énergie dance-pop moderne et puissance vocale légendaire.

Legendary singer, songwriter, actress, and activist Chaka Khan officially announces her highly anticipated return with Chakzilla, a new album set for release in September 2026. For this landmark project, the global icon collaborates with Paris couture house On Aura Tout Vu, renowned for creating visionary bridges between fashion, jewelry, haute couture, and music.

A Couture Silhouette for a Monumental Heroine

In the official Chakzilla music video, directed by Nicholas W. Callais, Chaka Khan appears wearing a spectacular black tulle gown embroidered with miniature beads and elongated sequins creating the illusion of luminous black fur. The couture piece comes from On Aura Tout Vu’s Out Of This World collection, perfectly complementing the futuristic and socially engaged aesthetic of the film.

Imagined as a monumental yet benevolent figure, “Chakzilla” walks through a miniature city not to destroy it, but to repair and protect it — a powerful metaphor for today’s world carried by the artist’s iconic energy.

The project’s lead single, Chakzilla, also marks an exceptional collaboration between Chaka Khan and Sia. Written by Sia and produced by acclaimed producer Greg Kurstin, the track blends modern dance-pop energy with Chaka Khan’s legendary vocal power.

“When I was a child, I loved Godzilla movies. Once we came up with the title Chakzilla, so many ideas came to mind and it instantly made perfect sense. Sia is brilliant — she always has incredible ideas.”
